More Tips On A Healthy Lifestyle

If a good hour of exercise is not possible for you to take, and even if it is, try to incorporate the following easy habits to your daily routine.

10 Squats every hour

This helps preventing many cardiovascular problems and keeps your metabolism at a good speed. Use your phone to remind you to do this every hour, it doesn’t matter where you are. Try separating the legs more. When going up, do it a bit faster and when going down do it as slow as you can.  If you work with other people, share this info and set this habit as a  group challenge for everyone in the office to meet. If you don’t have a way to set a reminder, do these squads at least every time you go to the loo (and you should go very often if you drink enough water and beverages – not sugary, please!)

HIIT

At least once at day, force yourself into a HIIT activity (High Intensity Interval training). If you run, make three intervals of 1-2 minutes running at your maximum speed or effort. This practice has proved to improve the processes related to insulin and cholesterol as well as blood oxygenation and recovery rates when exercising. If you don’t run, try going up as fast as you can in a staircase, even better if you can do 2 steps at a time. The idea is that you get tired, each time less and less. Don’t do it if you have a cardiovascular condition.

15-20 minutes of yoga

This can be a very light session os stretching exercises o very demanding asanas, whatever you like. Just do it.

If you don’t know where to start, try this channel, as a beginning: Breathe and Flow. These two know how to introduce you to Yoga and love it.

It contains different levels for you to choose.

Walk and Laugh!

30 mins of a briskly walk: especially on mornings, when going to work.

Laugh as much as you can. Search for happy and pleasant information and hobbies. Get yourself around positive and active friends. Stay away from toxic, whining and complaining people. Make as many (healthy) jokes as you can. Search for any information that can improve your life. Here are some tips where to get the inspiration.

All the best!
